Monroe Community Ambulance (MCA) is an ambulance service partnership which is owned by ProMedica Continuing Care Services Corporation, LifeStar Ambulance Company, Mercy Memorial Hospital System and Huron Valley Ambulance.  Each entity owns 25% of MCA and Huron Valley Ambulance is the managing partner.

MCA receives no governmental subsidy which make successful operations difficult because of the large geographic area covered with a limited call volume.  MCA's partner organizations have the unique ability to work together to provide additional resources to the county from the south, north and west during peak call-volume situations.
